Jill Cabral

Jill Cabral

I am the owner of and an instructor at balance, a fitness and wellness studio. I have a bachelors degree in Physical Education and Health Promotion from Bridgewater State College. I am a Health Coach Institute Graduate and a Certified Health Coach. I am a 200 hour Registered Yoga Instructor and hold fitness certifications from AFAA in Group Fitness, ACE in Personal Training, Yoga Fit (Levels 1-3, Seniors and Kids), BUTI Yoga Levels 1 & 2 and Advanced Buti, Hot Buti, Deep, PIYO, Omniball and Pound Rock-Out Workout. I am Reiki certified practitioner. I have a current American Red Cross CPR certification. I have been practicing fitness since 1997. I have had many highs and lows in my fitness career and have thus learned that fitness and wellness need to be a constant and a priority for each of us. I always waited until I had enough time, or had the energy, or I waited for "Monday" to have a fresh start and guess what...I was not consistent. There is no perfect time. I created this studio for everyone. You don't have to be having the perfect day or week, or feel on top of your game to come here. This is a judgement free zone and we are happy to have you as you are. We want this to be a place where you come to be fit and live well under all circumstances, consistently.

Kelli Cook

Kelli is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Instructor, an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer for over 15 years. She also has specialty training in Step Aerobics, Mat Science, Resist-A- Ball and HIT (High Intensity Training). She has received her certifications in BUTI Yoga Levels 1 & 2 and Advanced Buti, Deep, Hot Buti, Buti Sculpt and Hot Core, and multiple levels of 11:11 The Practice. She looks forward to meeting you in her classes and giving you a great workout.

Kris Irons

Kris Irons

Kris a phlebotomy supervisor for Quest Diagnostics's. She lives in Swansea MA and is a licensed Zumba Fitness, BollyX and Step Certified instructor as well as a certified group fitness instructor. She starting taking Zumba classes in 2012 and was the shy girl in the back row and fell in love with it so she decided to get certified in 2015 and has been teaching since. Exercising to her was always a chore until she took a Zumba class. Kris now states "It's not your regular workout... it's a fun workout where dancing and fitness make you sweat and burn calories. It has not only made me healthier but also changed my self esteem. Come try it I promise you will love it"!

Nicole Morissette

Nicole Morissette

Nicole is a fourth grade teacher for Fall River Public Schools. She has a strong background in dance with over 20 years of experience, and is a choreographer in many styles, including contemporary and hip hop. She has been a fitness instructor for over 6 years. In 2011, she received her certification in Zumba and began teaching. Nicole is also certified in Buti Yoga, Hot Core, and Buti Sculpt as well as being a certified group fitness instructor. She is thrilled to share her love of fitness at Balance!

Tracy Furtado

Tracy Furtado

Tracy is a Registered Nurse who works as a case manager in a local hospital. Tracy has always loved exercise ,especially yoga. The challenges of strengthening the body and quieting the mind is what intrigued her. She was so taken by it that she completed her 200 Registered Yoga Instructor Training and is certified in Buti yoga & Hot Buti. Tracy is also a group fitness certified instructor. Tracy is excited to share her love of yoga with her students.

Jena Reilly

Jena Reilly

Jena is a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. She has an extensive background in dance and dance instruction, including experience in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. She has kept active over the years with weight training and group exercise and fitness classes. Jena is a BARRE ABOVE and group fitness certified instructor. She is excited to share her expertise, excitement and enjoyment of dance and exercise with you here at BALANCE!

Ashley Gallagher

Ashley Gallagher

Ashley is a 200hr Registered yoga instructor, Meditation guide and Lisenced Massage Therapist. Having used yoga to increase her flexibility and strength tremendously, Ashley is very focused on alignment and modifications for her students so they can also meet their goals. A huge lover for fitness and working out Ashley enjoys creating workouts using yoga poses in her classes. She also loves to combine her yoga and massage training, using massage techniques while students are in yoga poses allowing the muscles to relax even deeper.

Katie Grillo

Katie Grillo

Katie is a 4th grade special education teacher in Dighton, MA. She has been an athlete most of her life: playing basketball, softball, soccer and cheerleading. Katie developed a love for group fitness years ago and has helped to create and instruct affordable community fitness programs for the town of Swansea since 2013. When she is not teaching, she loves spending time with her family, friends and dog, enjoys listening to music, cooking a good meal, volunteering and crafting! Katie has her Pound and Group Fitness Certification through AAAI/ISMA. Come Join her Pound Posse or pop in to any one of her classes!

Ali Sprague

Ali Sprague

Ali is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher. She discovered yoga in a time of personal struggle, practicing and teaching herself postures and sequences from photos and videos. She immediately noticed the emotional rewards of the practice; the way it quieted her mind. Ali began taking classes at several studios and eventually decided to further her practice by completing her 200 hour training. It was not her intention to teach but here she is, and she is excited to show people that think they "can't do yoga" that they can. By taking things slow and breaking down poses; there is access for all. When she isn't in the studio or at her full time job, she is taking various fitness classes, spending time with friends, snuggling with her dog or traveling. Ali is also Pilates and Group Fitness Certified.

Ashley Dupere

Ashley Dupere

Ashley is an elementary school math coach in Fall River, MA. She has a masters degree is elementary education and she spends most of her day modeling math instruction, supporting teachers in crafting math lessons and analyzing data. Her favorite part of the school day is recess!

Before teaching, Ashley worked at the Boys & Girls Club in Fall River. She has a true passion for working with inner city kids. She understands the stresses that teachers face and how hard it is show up as your best self everyday. This is what led her to Breathe for Change, an RYT-200 wellness and yoga teacher training designed for educators. She calls the experience "life changing."

Ashley was very excited to transition from being a member to being an instructor at Balance. With members of the team, she received her primary aerobic instructor certification. It has become her mission to promote self awareness and self care through yoga-based fitness.
